Terms and Conditions

In order to ensure fairness amongst clients and provide mutual security the school operates standard terms and conditions which apply to all existing and new clients.

  1. Registration
    Students will not be allowed in any class without prior registration. Registration is on a first come first served basis.
  2. Payment of Fees
    1. Payments can be made in full or in two instalments
    2. Payments can be made by cheque, cash or online. For cash payments the correct amount must be given in an envelope with the student’s name written on the outside. Please make cheques payable to Turning Pointe Dance Studio and write the students name on the back of the cheque. Please ask for more details if you wish to pay via online banking
    3. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY NO LATER THAN THE SECOND WEEK OF TERM AND SECOND PAYMENTS BY THE FIRST WEEK AFTER HALF TERM. Late payments will result in an additional charge of £10
    4. As our costs are fixed, fees remain payable in cases of absence. There are no reductions for sickness or holidays
  3. Cancellation Policy
    Pupils are automatically assumed to be continuing their classes from term to term. Notice of withdrawal of a pupil must be given in writing at least 5 weeks before the end of the term or the fees of the following term will be paid at 50% of the fee.
  4. Uniform
    Turning Pointe Dance Studio has a regulated school uniform, please ask for a uniform list. Only this uniform may be worn in the lessons. No jewellery is allowed to be worn and hair should be neatly tied back from face.
  5. State of Health
    It is the responsibility of the student’s parents or guardian to advise the teachers of any health conditions or body injuries.
  6. Lost Property
    The school cannot accept responsibility for any lost items. All clothing and equipment should be clearly marked with students’ name. Lost property will be kept for a limited time.
